The Visual C++ Chooser

If you've installed Microsoft Visual C++ 5 or 6, the Visual C++ Chooser appears at the bottom of every Eluent Tools Task Dialog Box, and it allows Eluent Tools to discover and work with the following types of files:

• File that are currently open in Visual C++
• Files belonging to projects currently open in Visual C++
• Files located in several important folders associated with Visual C++ and Platform SDK installations

Below, the Visual C++ Chooser is about to find files belonging to all the projects referenced by the workspace currently open in Visual C++, filtered by the "C++ Files" Mask Set. The %MSVCDir% and %MSSDK% buttons are checked, activating the folder options they control. The ability to easily refer to these folders is especially valuable when using Eluent Find to search for text in the Visual C++ and Platform SDK source code.
