Eluent Tab is a text file tool that converts tabs to spaces and spaces to tabs. By default, Eluent Tab adjusts line indentation only; that is, it limits its conversion to sequences of tabs or spaces that occur at the beginning of a line. Eluent Tab can also convert "spaces to spaces", which adjusts indentation consisting of spaces from one tab size (multiple of spaces) to another. 

The Eluent Tab dialog box appears when you run Eluent Tab from the Start Menu or an Explorer context menu, and when you run the eltab console program without any arguments. Below, Eluent Tab is about to convert leading tabs to spaces in the C++ files belonging to the project currently active in Visual C++ 5 or 6:

After you press OK, Eluent Tab begins to process your files, and a progress window appears, from which you can cancel the operation at any time.
