Eluent Replace Mini-Tour: The Main WindowThe Eluent Replace main window is shown below after performing one replacement defined by the Replace Task on the preceding page. The Before pane presents the current file and shows replaced text in red, while the current match is shown in blue. The After pane shows what the effect of the replacement will be on the line that contains the match. The Matched and Replacing with panes present the search pattern and replacement text from the current Replace Rule. The Log pane displays status and error messages. Because this is an interactive Replace Task, you would press one of the Command Buttons on the right to indicate what to do with this match. Non-interactive Replace Tasks do not display the information below, except the Log pane continues to present status and error messages, and only the New and Stop Command Buttons are enabled in a non-interactive Replace Task.
Once you have finished with this Replace Task, you can review the Log window contents and save it to a file, and you can start a new Replace Task without leaving this instance of Eluent Replace. |
