You can download the 30 day
Trial Version of Eluent Tools as a zip archive by clicking
eltools.zip below. To install Eluent Tools, unzip eltools.zip
to a temporary folder and run setup, or use your zip program's
install
feature, if it has one. If you prefer a self-installing executable,
download eltools.exe. These files also install or update the
registered version of Eluent Tools.
Eluent Tools requires recent versions of three Windows system files
that many users will already have, and to reduce download times, they
are not included in the eltools packages above. During installation, setup
will determine if you have the correct versions, and if you don't, setup
will give you the chance to connect to this web site and download them with your
web browser. No information beyond what is normally transmitted when you
connect to a web site is transmitted to us when you do this. For reference, these files are listed below, along with the required
versions and download locations.
Chances are, you won't need to install either of these updates, but setup
will let you know if you do. Windows 98 SE and Windows 2000 users will not
need to install either of these updates. Practically no one will need to
install the Common Controls update, because the required version dates
back to Sept-1997, and this file is updated by many software packages,
including Internet Explorer.
You can download the source code for the program elgrep.exe here.
